"Cycle Distribution Function" 

On 14.03.2008 (Friday), "Cycle Distribution Function" was conducted by BLESS at BLESS Field Office, Puduchatram in presence of DESWOS-Germany, General Manager Mr. Werner Wilkens.

The male cycle fish vendors are provided with cycle.  The main criteria for distributing cycle is they should sustain in the Cycle Fish vendors group for at least 6 months duration.  The beneficiaries also contribute an amount of Rs.500/-.  This is a special cycle fitted in such a way to carry heavy loads.  So far, we have been distributed 74 cycles to the fish vendors.  On the time ID cards was distributed along with cycles.  

 The Main purpose of issue of this Identity Cards are :

* To identify that they belongs to Cycle Fish Vendor

* All the details regarding the fish vendor will be computerized in the office based on this Primary Key (ID Card)

* Most of the time they need to travel, if they face any accident, such case contact details in the ID card serves to communicate and also the Blood group mentioned in the card helps to donate immediately to avoid further risk.
